Job Summary
The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and stabilize a portfolio of in-flight technology projects following a recent tax accounting system migration. Reporting directly to the IT Director, this role will drive execution, structure, and accountability across multiple concurrent initiatives, including application migrations, data warehouse updates, and reporting remediation.
The ideal candidate has proven experience taking over complex, active IT projects and delivering results with minimal ramp-up time in a highly visible public-sector environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day execution of multiple active IT projects

Stabilize and drive delivery of in-flight projects supporting application migration (~10 applications)

Develop and maintain clear project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables

Coordinate across business analysts, developers, SMEs, and external consultants

Provide concise status reporting to executive leadership

Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and escalation points

Mentor business analysts on documentation and project discipline

Facilitate project meetings using Microsoft Teams and Outlook

Ensure documentation meets audit and compliance standards

Reinforce consistent project management practices across the portfolio
