Job Title: Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst – Claims
Job Summary
We are seeking an Epic PB Analyst with hands-on experience in professional billing and claims workflows. The analyst will support system build, configuration, testing and troubleshooting to improve claims accuracy and billing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Epic PB claims workflows, claim edits and billing rules.
- Build and maintain claim workqueues, routing rules and claim error resolution processes.
- Troubleshoot claim rejections, denials and electronic claims submission issues.
- Support clearinghouse and payer connectivity, including 837P claims and 835 remittance workflows.
- Collaborate with billing teams to resolve issues and improve clean claim rates.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into Epic configuration.
- Perform testing for upgrades, enhancements and payer requirement changes.
- Maintain documentation and provide end-user support.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as an Epic Professional Billing Analyst.
- Strong experience with Epic PB claims build, configuration and support.
- Knowledge of professional billing, payer requirements, claim edits and revenue cycle workflows.
- Familiarity with clearinghouse processes and electronic claim transactions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification.
- Experience with claim denials, payment posting and accounts receivable workflows.
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades or optimization projects.
