Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist-Expert / Mainframe Specialist with strong expertise in z/OS, CICS, DB2, Endevor, IMS, JCL, and Elixir. The resource will provide mainframe administration, configuration/release management, troubleshooting, SQL optimization, and technical support to application developers and DIT teams.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert support for z/OS operating system and mainframe environments.

Manage configuration and release activities using Endevor.

Support DB2, SQL development, tools, and utilities.

Analyze complex SQL queries and recommend performance and cost improvements.

Provide CICS administration, troubleshooting, and debugging support.

Collaborate with application developers and DIT personnel on technical issues.

Support mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, IMS, JCL, and Elixir.

Provide middleware and MQ support as needed.
Required Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience with z/OS and its functionality/interrelationships.

7+ years of Endevor configuration/release management experience.

7+ years of SQL programming experience.

7+ years working with DB2 tools and utilities.

7+ years evaluating complex SQL queries and improving performance.

Strong CICS administration, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
