Job#:2221 - Epic Integrations Developer (Senior)
Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Epic Integrations Developer to lead and develop complex healthcare integrations between Epic and third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Epic Bridges, Interconnect, HL7, FHIR, EDI, and healthcare interface engines.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare integration development
- Hands-on experience with Epic Bridges and Interconnect
- Strong experience with HL7 v2, FHIR APIs, and EDI/X12
- Experience with healthcare transactions: 837, 835, 270/271, 278, and e-Prescribing
- Experience with at least one interface engine: Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, or MuleSoft
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and JDBC
- Experience with ETL, data mapping, and integration workflows
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, SFTP, and secure data transmission
- Understanding of HIPAA, OAuth, SAML, and encryption
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead integration projects and collaborate with technical, clinical, and vendor teams
Preferred Skills
- Epic Bridges or related Epic certification
- Experience with Epic Public APIs
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Python, PowerShell, or CI/CD experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
