Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Architect with strong expertise in Clinical Decision Support (CDS) and Epic data. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Epic systems and the ability to identify and leverage valuable, underutilized data assets within Epic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and support Epic architecture with a focus on Clinical Decision Support.
- Analyze Epic data to identify previously undiscovered or underutilized data assets.
- Develop and optimize clinical decision support solutions.
- Design and work with decision trees and decision logic.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, analytics, and reporting teams.
- Translate clinical requirements into scalable Epic solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows using Epic data and CDS.
- Support reporting and analytics initiatives related to clinical decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as an Epic Architect.
- Extensive knowledge of Epic EHR and its architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Clinical Decision Support (CDS).
- Thorough understanding of decision trees and decision logic.
- Ability to identify and extract value from Epic's data assets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic reporting, analytics, or data solutions.
- Experience working with clinical workflows and healthcare organizations.
- Epic certifications are preferred.
