Job Description:
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen.
- 5+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI.
- 5+ years of experience validating structured clinical data and troubleshooting EHR integration issues.
- 3+ years of experience interpreting clinical workflows and mapping them to data exchange requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy/security regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting Health Information Exchange (HIE) onboarding, interoperability projects, or multi-vendor EHR environments.
- Experience with SQL, interface engines, and data mapping tools.
- Familiarity with NC HIEA initiatives, Medicaid QPHE, NCQA DAV, or other state/federal digital health programs.
- Experience working with rural or underserved healthcare providers.
