Job Title: Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Epic ODBA (Operational Database Administrator) with experience supporting Epic database environments, performance tuning, and system maintenance. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of Epic operational databases while supporting Epic applications and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Epic operational databases.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.
- Perform database tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support Epic upgrades, patches, and environment refreshes.
- Collaborate with Epic, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve database-related issues.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Skills:
- Experience as an Epic ODBA or database administrator supporting Epic environments.
- Strong knowledge of database administration, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Epic system architecture and healthcare IT environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Epic ODBA certification is preferred.
