Job Description:
Job Title: Manager – Governance
Duration: 12 Months (Contract to Hire)
Travel: 50–75%
Role Overview
Hands-on “player-coach” responsible for leading governance while actively driving sourcing and savings initiatives across clinical and non-clinical categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Steering Committees and executive governance meetings
- Set savings targets, manage budgets, and track performance
- Execute sourcing activities including RFPs, negotiations, and product evaluations
- Support both clinical and non-clinical categories (med/surg, purchased services, facilities, lab)
- Manage a small team (1–2 direct reports)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in healthcare supply chain or consulting
- 3+ years of governance experience (steering committees, executive reporting)
- Strong generalist experience across multiple categories
- RFP and contract negotiation expertise
- Strong project management and multitasking skills
