Job Description:

Job Title: Manager – Governance
Duration: 12 Months (Contract to Hire)
Travel: 50–75%

Role Overview

Hands-on “player-coach” responsible for leading governance while actively driving sourcing and savings initiatives across clinical and non-clinical categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Steering Committees and executive governance meetings
  • Set savings targets, manage budgets, and track performance
  • Execute sourcing activities including RFPs, negotiations, and product evaluations
  • Support both clinical and non-clinical categories (med/surg, purchased services, facilities, lab)
  • Manage a small team (1–2 direct reports)

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in healthcare supply chain or consulting
  • 3+ years of governance experience (steering committees, executive reporting)
  • Strong generalist experience across multiple categories
  • RFP and contract negotiation expertise
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
