Job Description:

Job Title: Epic Go-Live Support Analyst

Job Summary

The Epic Go-Live Support Analyst provides at-the-elbow (ATE) support during Epic system implementations and go-live events. This role assists clinicians, operational staff, and end users with real-time workflow support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure a smooth transition to the Epic Systems Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide at-the-elbow support to physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff during Epic go-live events

  • Assist users with navigation, documentation workflows, order entry, and clinical decision support tools

  • Troubleshoot basic system, workflow, and access issues and escalate complex problems appropriately

  • Educate end users on Epic best practices and standard workflows

  • Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems

  • Support modules such as:

    • EpicCare Ambulatory

    • EpicCare Inpatient

    • ClinDoc

    • Orders

    • ASAP

    • Willow

    • Revenue Cycle modules (Resolute Professional/Hospital Billing)

  • Participate in command center operations during go-live

  • Provide feedback to build teams on workflow gaps or optimization opportunities


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience supporting EHR systems (Epic preferred)

  • Strong understanding of clinical or revenue cycle workflows

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during go-live

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic certification or proficiency in one or more modules

  • Previous go-live or at-the-elbow support experience

  • Clinical background (RN, LPN, MA, etc.) or healthcare operations experience

  • Experience in hospital or ambulatory care settings
