We are seeking a skilled FHIR/API Integration Engineer to design and build healthcare interoperability solutions integrating with Epic Systems and Epic Payer Platform.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage HL7 FHIR APIs (R4 preferred).

Build integrations for Eligibility (270/271), Prior Authorization (278), Bulk Data, and Document Reference.

Design and implement integrations with Epic and Epic Payer Platform.

Manage API Gateway (routing, throttling, monitoring).

Implement OAuth2, mTLS, and SMART on FHIR security protocols.

Handle error management, logging, monitoring, and production support.
Required Skills

4+ years of API/FHIR integration experience.

Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4), REST, and JSON.

Experience with OAuth2, mTLS, and API Gateway tools.

Understanding of healthcare workflows (270/271, 278 transactions preferred).

Experience in payer-provider integrations preferred.
