Overview
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Java Developer with deep hands-on coding experience to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications. This is a fully onsite role in downtown Chicago.
Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of hands-on Java development (Java 11 or higher)

Strong coding skills; video interview with live coding test required

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Application architecture: MVC, Microservices, Event-Driven systems

TDD / BDD development practices

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GoCD, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Cloud deployment experience (AWS or Azure)

Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, ActiveMQ, or Kinesis)

Batch and/or stream processing

Design and development of RESTful APIs

API management platforms (Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Gateway)

API & testing tools: Swagger, Assertible, Selenium, Cucumber
