The Technical Specialist will act as the primary contact for building, supporting, and maintaining Epic modules, specifically Willow Ambulatory Pharmacy & Inventory Supply Tracking. This role involves coordinating all issues during the project lifecycle and requires in-depth knowledge of the organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary support contact for end-users of the Epic application

Develop, design, configure, script, test, and support applications for business, research, and instructional needs

Create solutions using programming expertise to address daily operational challenges

Evaluate hardware and software requirements

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues

Guide workflow design, build, testing, and manage technical challenges related to Epic software

Implement requested system changes and enhancements

Act as a liaison between end users and Epic implementation staff

Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and attend weekly project meetings

Understand operational needs and direct workflow solutions through site visits and integrated sessions

Monitor project status, issues, deliverables, and milestones, and communicate regularly with leadership and team members
