Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst / Automation Engineer with extensive expertise in testing methodologies and public transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ensuring solution quality through effective testing strategies. This is a full-time onsite role requiring a seasoned professional with the following qualifications and responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience working on projects for public transportation planning and operations.
- Proven expertise in performing Integration, End-to-End, User Acceptance, Performance, and Regression tests.
- Strong communication skills to convey testing status and system quality metrics to leadership.
- Ability to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases.
- Experience in automating tests for enhanced efficiency and coverage.
- Accountable for ensuring the quality of the solution throughout the development cycle.
- Act as the approving authority for deployments and releases to ensure system stability.
- Proficient in connecting to databases and APIs as part of testing activities.
- Capable of validating QA and production deployments to ensure seamless releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform automated and manual testing across various environments.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions.
- Monitor, track, and report defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure all testing activities align with project timelines and quality benchmarks.
